What is a Safe Raspberry Ketone Dosage?

by raspberryketonesdosage on March 6, 2012

A safe raspberry ketone dosage is interestingly enough, as much as you want but, in general, the recommend does is 100mg per serving. Raspberry ketone is a compound that is extracted from raspberries or cultured synthetically and is the main aroma causing agent in the fruit. Also, raspberry ketones have some very interesting and beneficial health effects.

They are capable of bonding with free radicals in the body and acting to remove carcinogens and toxins, they have the ability to suppress appetite and hunger, they can bond with fat in the stomach and they can even increase the rate at which fat is burned in your body. All in all, they are one of the most versatile compounds used in supplements for fat loss and they also have the added benefit of being backed up by sound science done in a laboratory as well as the testimonials of thousands of people who have used raspberry ketones to facilitate successful weight loss.

What is the science behind raspberry ketones?

The FDA has stated that raspberry ketone dosage is generally safe in any amount and that the product has absolutely no known side effects. It has been used as a flavoring and food additive since the 1960s and has also been used in the cosmetics and perfume industries as well since then. As a weight loss supplement, it is marketed by many companies and there are many competing brands available.

The experiments done to show the effectiveness of raspberry ketones were performed on mice in laboratories in Japan. The test mice were fed diets that contained food which would make them extremely fat and were also fed varying amounts of raspberry ketone in a selection of test groups. The results showed that the mice with the highest level of ketone in their diets were able to prevent weight gain the most — in other words, the more raspberry ketone that was fed to them, the faster their body fat was metabolized.

While the experiment has not been repeated on human subjects officially in a lab, Dr. Oz had a segment on his show where a nutritionist and dietician came on and explained that the majority of her clients that were using raspberry ketone were able to lose weight just as effectively as the mice did.

Don’t forget exercise!

Don’t forget that a good diet is not just about being well balanced, having healthy supplements and using super foods, but that you also need to incorporate a good exercise routine into your lifestyle. A daily walk can do wonders for your physique and general level of fitness, but you should also consider some kind of sport that you would do on the weekends or if you have the time then do some cardio or weight training.

In our largely sedentary lifestyles, we have forgotten that just a little over 10,000 years ago, we were still extremely fit omnivorous hunter-gatherers chasing mammoths with spears, who ate when they could and remained lean and hungry for sometimes months on end living off plants they were able to gather.

Today this is very different and we need to get supplements such as a raspberry ketone dosage daily to help out with a well rounded healthy lifestyle.

Raspberry Ketone Pure features 100mg of raspberry ketone per serving as well as other natural ingredients, you can try it risk free for 60 days also.

Should I be taking Rasberry Ketone if I take an antidepressant?? Also take Plaquinel for OR, Simvastatin for Cholesterol(20mg every other day). Will any of these meds prevent the Rasberry Ketone from working properly? Should I be taking these meds seperate from Rasberry Ketone? I really need some feedback. I have been taking RK for about 1 week and have not seen a difference. I know it can take up to 5 days to kick in so I heard, is this true? Thanks for any information you can give.

If you take any medication you should consult your doctor before taking any supplements. Results can be different for everyone, some people see them in a week, others longer.

What you are not saying is how many pills you take/day. But you are saying 100 mg./day. You are not saying what each pill contains. You are not saying how long the jar of 60 caps will last. Please clarify these questions.

That depends on the brand you take, Raspberry Ketone Pure, for example, contains 100mg per capsule.
